Beautiful vintage GKC Co. silverplate covered serving dish with a rectangular shape, decorative rope-style border and ring handle on the lid. The underside is marked “GKC Co. E.P.”, indicating an electroplated piece.
This one has significant natural patina, oxidation and verdigris, giving it a wonderfully aged, old-world look. I would sell it as found and let the buyer decide whether to polish or preserve the patina. Great for styling, display, florals, or as a restoration project.
