Floral Metal Pedestal Bowl
Lovely mid-century English tin compote in the ever-popular Rose Medallion / Ming pattern! This is the hard-to-find pedestal fruit bowl version.
Details:
• Made in England by Baret Ware - B.W. Co. - famous for high quality enameled tinware
• No. 138 Ming Compote - from their Chinoiserie line circa 1950s-60s
• Famille Rose style decoration: pink peonies, blue & yellow flowers, green leaves, little birds & butterflies, lime green ground
• Metal / tin with enameled floral decoration inside and out - gold rim
• Pedestal / footed compote style - great for fruit, candy, or vanity display
• Measures approx. 8" diameter x 3.5" tall - 3.75" foot
• Bottom clearly marked with Art Grace crest and cleaning instructions
Condition: Good vintage condition. Light wear to gold rim, a few tiny flea bites to enamel mostly on rim edge (see close-ups), some light surface scratching inside from use. No dents. Displays beautifully! Clean - just wipe with damp cloth per original instructions.
