Vintage Blue & White Porcelain Ginger Jar with Lid - Birds & Floral - Greek Key Border
Charming small chinoiserie temple jar in classic blue and white. Hand-painted style decoration with two facing birds over peony / chrysanthemum bouquet on front, floral cartouche on reverse, and children / figures with flowers on the domed lid.
Details: Greek key / meander band around lid edge, neck, and foot, scalloped lappet border at shoulder, acorn / lotus bud finial on lid.
Measures approx. 6.75 inches tall with lid on x 5 inches wide at belly. See yardstick photo for scale.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs noted on body or lid. Glossy glaze with a few tiny kiln specks / glaze dots as made. Interior unglazed as shown. Please see all 8 photos — you will receive the exact jar pictured with lid.
