Beautiful mid-century style Majolica cicada wall pocket. Traditionally treated as a symbol of good luck in the Provence region of Southern France, this ceramic hanging vase is functional and decorative. It features a brilliant yellow glaze finish adorned with a hand-painted botanical cherry and leaf motif. The hollow mouth opening is ideal for displaying dried lavender sprigs or small floral stems.
