intage Set of 3 Woven Rattan Chicken / Bird Lidded Baskets - Nesting Hen, Rooster & Parrot
Charming collection of 3 figural wicker animal baskets. Each one is a functional covered basket - the head lifts off and the body is the bowl. Perfect for farmhouse kitchen decor, egg holder, trinkets, or display.
Includes:
Large Flat Nesting Hen - round dome with overlapping scale feathers, woven head with wooden beak and glass eyes. Opens to a large shallow basket (great as bread or fruit basket). Approx 6" across.
Rooster with Fancy Comb - Standing on curved bamboo base, tall cone shape with woven body and carved wood comb/beak. Lid lifts off. Approx 7" tall.
Parrot / Long-Beak Bird - Dark reddish-brown feathered wings, hooked beak, woven body with footed base. Approx 7" tall.
All have lacquered finish, bead eyes, and hand-woven detail. Bottoms are open-weave rattan inside.
Condition: Good vintage used condition. No major breaks. Light dust from storage, some minor fraying / small splits to a few feather tips as expected with age - see close-ups. One tiny spot on top of small hen lid weave is worn. Eyes and beaks all intact. See all photos
