Sweet vintage pewter mouse (woodland character) perched on a sparkling natural pyrite cluster – a classic piece of 70s-80s rock-shop folk art!

Mounted securely on a natural “fool’s gold” pyrite base with bright brassy-gold cubic crystals and natural matrix
Nice contrast between the soft matte pewter and the glittery mineral – exactly like the vintage pewter-on-pyrite gnomes, miners and clowns sold in museum shops
Condition: Excellent vintage. Pewter has a soft aged patina with great bark-like texture detail, no breaks or bends. Pyrite is solid with good cube formation and natural sparkle (a little matrix dust in crevices, as found). See all photos – they are the best description.
Perfect for a desk, windowsill, or crystal shelf. Mice are great luck symbols, and pyrite is known as the stone of abundance – makes a thoughtful gift for a collector, teacher, or anyone who loves miniatures
