This vintage Heisey Elegant Clear Glass dessert/finger bowl, is a beautiful addition to any collection. The pictured set includes a 4-inch wide, deeply scalloped ribbed panel glass bowl and a charming absinthe spoon. The bottom of the bowl has a "ground and cut" design pontil, produced by Heisey. You will not often find pieces such as this with the makers mark, however, this bowl clearly has the Signature Manufacturer's mark of an "H" within a raised diamond located on the Interior surface at the bottom of the bowl. (see picture). Also included is the French term "absinthe" spoon. This round spoon with five small holes allows for use as a sifter or used for judicious sprinkling. This mid-century modern bowl is from the United States and was produced using the pressed glass "fire polishing" technique.
