paperweight - Blue Opalescent Flowers.
Large heavy dome with three incredible opalescent blue / white pleated flowers, each with a large controlled air bubble in the center that magnifies the flower center. Underneath is a beautiful complex ground of cranberry, mustard, green and dichroic iridescence with metallic sparkle.
• Hand-blown by Robert Eickholt, Columbus Ohio - one of the most respected American studio glass artists, Eickholt Glass est 1978
• Signed on polished base: "Eickholt 2006" - etched script - see enhanced photos
• Approx 3.25" diameter x 2.75" tall - heavy solid glass
• Excellent vintage condition - no chips, cracks or damage. Tiny air bubbles as made.
A beautiful large collector piece - much nicer than the small 2" imports.
