The number on the bottom of your piece is Patent No. 3,547,569. This specific patent was issued to the Fenton Art Glass Company on December 15, 1970. It covers the unique "single piece structure" of the candle bowl, which was designed to hold various combinations of taper and pillar candles along with floral arrangements. This mark is a hallmark of genuine Fenton production. Fenton was the only company authorized to use this patented multi-well design. These bowls were primarily manufactured between 1968 and 1988.
