I am a long time scrapbooker and card maker. When I retired early after 32 years in corporate America I started also making crafts. Then I found vintage finds resellers on Facebook and got hooked on thrifting to make over items or just resell. I have found I love thrifting and flipping my finds. A whimsical vintage Mexican folk art wall mirror in the shape of a cat, featuring hand-welded steel construction with decorative brass-tone accents for the eyes, whiskers, and claws. This piece bears the distinctive 'AVO' studio monogram and 'Hecho en Mexico' export sticker, reflecting the Brutalist-inspired modernist style popular in Mexican metalwork during the late 20th century.
