Vintage Staffordshire England "Red River" Blue Transferware Plate - 6" Saucer
Pretty vintage blue and white transferware saucer in the popular Red River pattern. This is the 17th Century England series depicting a countryside scene with thatched barns, shepherdess with basket, sheep grazing, and cows.
• Heavy ironstone, dishwasher and microwave safe per backstamp
• Bright, crisp transfer - no fading
• Floral border with scrollwork - very decorative for plate wall
• Use as saucer, side / salad plate, berry bowl, or trinket dish
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or crazing. Glaze is glossy. Very light utensil marks if any. See close-ups of center scene and floral rim.
Perfect for replacing a piece in your Red River set, or mixing into blue & white cottage decor. Pairs well with Willow, Spode, and other Staffordshire blues.
