Vintage Brass Double Bell with Quill Feather Handle - Hampton Brass India
Wonderful mid-century brass novelty desk bell / letter opener handle. Two solid brass bells joined by a detailed brass quill feather - one bell stands as a base, the other hangs at an angle. When you lift and shake, both ring.
Often listed as a quill feather letter opener handle or double desk bell. Same style as Hampton Brass India double hand bell.

Condition:
Good vintage used condition. Beautiful golden brass with natural patina and age spotting. Some light verdigris / oxidation at the solder joints where feather meets bells (see close-ups) - typical for this piece and adds character. Light surface scratches. No breaks, feather is solid.
