Vintage Large Red Poppy Celluloid Clip-On Earrings with Black Beaded Centers
Beautiful pair of vintage statement flower earrings from my personal collection plumbcrazyvintage in Carlsborg, WA.
Details:
• Large molded resin / celluloid flowers in deep poppy red, each petal carved with vein details
• Center cluster of tiny black glass seed beads — hand wired
• Clip-on backs — silver tone paddle clips, they snap tight and hold well. Backs show age with some darkening/tarnish on the metal disc and a little surface rust on the clip rivet — photographed in photo 4, purely cosmetic, still functional
• Light surface dust in crevices from storage — I did not clean to preserve patina
• Each earring approx 2" across — big and bold, perfect for 40s/50s styling
Condition: Good vintage. Flowers have light surface scratches and small flecks consistent with age, no cracks. Bead centers secure. Clips work. Please see all photos — they are part of description.
Great for Remembrance Day poppy, vintage pin-up, or summer floral look. Lightweight despite size.
