VINTAGE HANDWOVEN RATTAN LIDDED BASKET - Natural Fiber Boho Storage
Lovely vintage natural rattan / bamboo storage basket with fitted lid.
All natural fiber - no plastic. Handwoven herringbone pattern around center with tightly wrapped coiled rattan trim on top rim, base, and lid. Dark natural interior. Great boho / tribal / Southeast Asian style - perfect as a lidded storage basket, bathroom canister, or shelf decor.
Measurements:
Approx. 6.5"-7" diameter across lid x 8" tall with lid on. Body is approx. 6.5" tall without lid.
Condition & Please Read:
Good vintage condition. One side is darker than the other due to sun fading - one side is a rich warm brown, the opposite side has faded to a lighter gray/taupe with a lighter top (see photos 1 vs 4 - I photographed both sides to show difference). Also shows age wear - some surface wear, light scuffs, small cracks / fraying to the wrapped trim on lid edge and top rim, and natural color variation in the rattan weave. No breaks to main weave, lid fits well. All natural fibers - clean and solid.
