Matching Elephant Ring - Gold Tone Filigree Set
So magical! Heavy gold-tone elephant trinket box with hinged lid and matching statement elephant ring that fits right inside for safekeeping. Both in lucky trunk-up pose.
THE TRINKET BOX:
Gorgeous filigree openwork cast metal - quite heavy - gold tone plated. Lavishly jeweled with clear round rhinestones pavé set along the sides and colorful enamel flowers: large red enamel flower with pink cat's-eye cab center on top, plus tiny lavender, light blue and pink blossoms and green enamel leaves on the ears and feet. Blue-green rhinestone eye. Trunk up for good luck!
Hinged at the tail, magnetic closure at the trunk - snaps shut securely. Opens to a nice little compartment perfect for the ring, earrings, or tiny keepsakes. Inside is open filigree as shown. No chips to enamel, all rhinestones present and sparkly.
Measures approx 3" long x 2" tall at back, about 3.5" tall to tip of trunk. Similar boxes are listed as 7 cm x 4 cm x 5 cm and about 150 grams. This one is similar - about 3" length and 1-7/8" tall style. Yours is heavier - I would estimate 6-7 oz for the box alone. 
THE MATCHING RING:
Fabulous statement cocktail ring - a white / cream enamel elephant with gold-tone trim and bright blue rhinestone eyes. Back is encrusted with light aqua cat's-eye teardrop cabs, smoky lavender oval crystals, and pink and clear rhinestones. The elephant's body is the top of the ring and its legs wrap to form the band. From photos on hand it looks like approx size 7-8 but will fit a range due to open design. Measures about 1.75" long x 1" wide at top. Very substantial and sparkly. All stones intact.
Condition: Excellent pre-owned vintage condition. No missing stones that I can see, enamel bright, hinge works perfectly, magnet strong. Light surface wear commensurate with age. Unmarked, in the style of Kirks Folly / Keren Kopal / Jay Strongwater.
