I love hunting for treasures and finding bargains. I am very busy with three parents/in laws all in their 80s and the most wonderful six year old grandson with autism. Digging for vintage treasures is a little "me time" and I'm looking forward to sharing them with everyone through Secondhand Squad.
This antique decorative plate was made by Petrus Regout & Co. Maastricht, a historic Dutch pottery manufacturer active from the mid-1800s through the early 1900s. The backstamp with the lion above the company name was used around 1890–1930, making this piece over 100 years old. The plate measures 9.5 inches in diameter and features a vibrant transfer-printed fruit design (pear, apple, strawberries, and blackberry) with a warm amber-brown border and subtle embossed flourishes. It was likely intended as a decorative wall piece, and it still has its vintage hanger attached. Condition: Antique piece with age-appropriate wear. Visible hairline crack on one side (see photos). Some light age staining and crazing. Best for decorative display, not food use. This is a beautiful example of early 20th-century Dutch pottery, perfect for farmhouse kitchens, antique plate walls, or collectors of European ceramics. As with all Paige’s Plates items, this will be carefully packaged to ensure safe arrival. Offers and questions are always welcome! Size: 9.5" diameter
