Crafted in Japan during the mid-20th century (circa 1950s), these pieces are feature incredible detail in the layered feathers and powerful, dynamic poses. Each rooster is finished in a warm, aged brass-toned finish with hand-painted red accents on the combs and wattles. These are substantial pieces that work beautifully as standalone tabletop decor, mantle accents, or even as unique bookends. Excellent vintage condition with a natural, aged patina, minimal wear to the finish and paint. No chips or major defects. Partial remnant of the original “Japan” sticker. Each rooster measures approximately 9”x 8”. Felt on feet.
