Hi Everyone! I am from Ohio and love thrifting and perusing our local antique stores! I enjoy pieces that remind me of my grandparents and love the hunt of finding unique treasures to bring into my home.
Fostoria Glass Company was an American manufacturer of glassware, founded in 1887 in Fostoria, Ohio, and later moved to Moundsville, West Virginia. They were renowned for their high-quality pressed and blown glassware, including elegant tableware, decorative items, and colored glass. The company operated until 1986, leaving behind a rich legacy of collectible American glass. The 'Coin Glass' pattern, introduced by Fostoria in 1950, is one of their most iconic designs. It features embossed coin-like motifs within circular panels, often surrounded by a hobnail border. This pattern was produced in various colors, with amber being a popular and sought-after choice among collectors, often referred to as 'Wedding Coin' due to its association with bridal gifts.
